Fellow Foundrymen and Delegates of the 60th IFC,

We are the second largest producers of castings in the world and our industry is growing at 22%. The foundry industry of the USA is close on our heels and that of China is far ahead.

In order to sustain growth a significantly larger number of foundries should emulate the success of the few modern well run foundries that are driving innovation and leading growth. The Student Activity Forum of the Technical Committee presents a highly interactive and deeply engaging panel discussion of four young foundry leaders.

Date: March 4th 2012.                           Time: 2:00 PM-3:00 PM.

Session theme: Addressing the talent challenge in the foundry industry.

Format: Each panel member addresses a specific topic for approx 7-10 minutes followed by an interactive session. The panel session will be moderated. The format will be free flowing and involve all the members. The panel discussion will end in 40 minutes and followed by 20 minutes of Q&A.
